Architecture Photography is one of my favorite forms of Photography. Not only does it bring with it beautiful sites and sounds, but it means that your subject does not always have to be one singular subject, but the entire city or town you are shooting in, and each building brings its one uniqueness and character to the scene. Shooting in a natural environment with only natural light to use is the main challenge with this type of photography as well, so it is key to make sure you utilize your environment around you to help get the shot you are looking for
My Approach
- Shoots usually begin with an idea, a storyboard, or a written concept
- I make sure to do extensive research on areas around where I want to shoot, to best plan out shots and key perspectives I’d like to highlight
- This area of work has helped me hone my patience, planning, and editing skills as a photographer
